Rixensart is een Waalse gemeente in de Belgische provincie Waals-Brabant. Op 1 januari 2006 had Rixensart een totale bevolking van 21.355. De totale oppervlakte is 17,54 km² wat een bevolkingsdichtheid van 1.217 inwoners per km² oplevert. De gemeente bestaat uit de volgende voormalige gemeenten, nu subgemeenten: Rixensart, Rosières (Rozieren) en Genval.
