Gragnano, een heuveldorp gelegen tussen een bergkam en de Amalfikust, is een gemeente (gemeente) in de metropool Napels in de regio Campania in het zuiden van Midden-Italië, ongeveer 30 kilometer ten zuidoosten van de stad Napels. Gragnano grenst aan de volgende gemeenten: Agerola, Casola di Napoli, Castellammare di Stabia, Lettere, Pimonte, Ravello, Sant'Antonio Abate, Santa Maria la Carità, Scala. In 1169 werd de naam toegevoegd aan de titel van het bisdom van het nabijgelegen Lettere, dat zo werd omgedoopt tot rooms-katholiek bisdom Lettere-Gragnano, maar Gragnano had nooit een co-kathedraal en de titel werd geschrapt toen de onderdrukte zuil nominaal werd gerestaureerd als titulair bisdom Lettere.
