Basel of Bazel (BAHL; Frans: Bâle [bɑl]; Italiaans: Basilea [baziˈlɛːa]; Reto-Romaans: Basilea [baziˈleːa]) is een stad in het noordwesten van Zwitserland aan de rivier de Rijn.
