Neu! (gestileerd als NEU! in hoofdletters, Duits: Nieuw !, uitgesproken [nɔʏ]) was een Duitse band die in 1971 in Düsseldorf werd opgericht door Klaus Dinger en Michael Rother na hun vertrek uit Kraftwerk. De albums van de groep zijn geproduceerd door Conny Plank, die wordt beschouwd als het "verborgen lid" van de groep. Ze brachten drie albums uit in hun eerste incarnatie: Neu! (1972), Neu! 2 (1973) en Neu! 75 (1975) - voordat ze in 1975 uit elkaar gingen. Ze herenigden zich halverwege de jaren tachtig kort, hoewel Neu! had minimaal commercieel succes tijdens zijn bestaan, de band wordt met terugwerkende kracht beschouwd als een centrale act van de West-Duitse krautrockbeweging uit de jaren 70. Ze staan bekend om hun pionierswerk op het gebied van de "motorik" beat, een minimalistisch 4/4 ritme geassocieerd met krautrock artiesten.
