Landerneau (Franse uitspraak: [lɑ̃dɛʁno]; Bretons: Landerne, uitgesproken als [lãnˈdɛrne]) is een gemeente in het Finistère-departement van Bretagne in Noordwest-Frankrijk. Het ligt aan de monding van de rivier de Elorn die de Bretonse provincies Cornouaille en Léon verdeelt, 22 km (14 mijl) ten oosten van Brest. De naam komt uit Lan Terneo en kan betekenen "(religieuze) behuizing van St Ténénan (Welsh: Tyrnog)": naar verluidt een Welshman die ook llans had in de Vale of Clwyd in Noord-Wales en in Somerset, en die naar Bretagne verhuisde in de 7e eeuw. Lann betekent een religieuze heilige plaats. De stad is gesticht door Saint Arnoc, soms Ternoc genoemd en er kan verwarring ontstaan met Saint Ténénan.
