Benediktbeuern is een gemeente in het district Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen in Beieren, Duitsland, 2 kilometer of 1,25 mijl van Bichl. Het dorp heeft op 31 december 2015 ongeveer 3.620 inwoners. De middeleeuwse Latijnse naam Benediktbeuern was Buria (bijvoeglijk naamwoord: Burana). Benediktbeuern heeft een beroemd klooster, voorheen behorend tot de Benedictijnse Orde, genaamd Benediktbeuern Abbey, dat werd gesticht in ongeveer 739. De naam is bekend vanwege het manuscript Carmina Burana ('Benediktbeuern-liederen') dat daar in 1803 werd gevonden en vervolgens op muziek werd gezet door Carl Orff.
