Foligno is een oude stad van Italië in de provincie Perugia in het oosten van centraal Umbrië, aan de Topino-rivier waar het de Apennijnen verlaat en de brede vlakte van het Clitunno-riviersysteem binnengaat. Het ligt 40 kilometer (25 mijl) ten zuidoosten van Perugia, 10 km (6 mijl) ten noord-noordwesten van Trevi en 6 km (4 mijl) ten zuiden van Spello. Ravenna (rə-VEN-ə, Italiaans: [raˈvenna], ook lokaal [raˈvɛnna]; Romagnol: Ravèna) is de hoofdstad van de provincie Ravenna, in de regio Emilia-Romagna in Noord-Italië. Het was de hoofdstad van het West-Romeinse rijk van 402 tot dat rijk in 476 instortte.
