Morbegno (Italiaans: [morˈbeɲɲo]; Lombard: Murbegn [murˈbɛɲ]; Duits: Morbend) is een klein stadje in de lage Valtellina-vallei in Italië, aan de linkerkant van de rivier de Adda. Het maakt deel uit van de provincie Sondrio in Lombardije. In 2007 startte het een project om een leider in duurzaamheid te worden door de bevolking te betrekken bij een participatief ontwerpproces, dat momenteel het label "Morbegno 2020" draagt. Morbegno werkt samen met de internationale non-profitorganisatie The Natural Step om een visie te ontwerpen van wat de mensen die in Morbegno wonen op de lange termijn willen creëren, en het strategische pad te kiezen om vanuit de huidige realiteit naar de visie te gaan. Morbegno is ook geselecteerd als pilootstad in de Di.Mo.Stra.
