Sellero is een gemeente van 1.503 mensen in de provincie Brescia (ver 83 km van Brescia) in het midden van Val Camonica. Op zijn grondgebied zijn duizenden rotsgravures, waaronder de "Rosa camuna" in Carpene (het symbool van de regio Lombardije). Op het grondgebied van de gemeente zijn er ook voorbeelden van excellente energie, zoals de ondergrondse waterkrachtcentrale van San Fiorano (in Scianica) en een televerwarmingsvermogen op biomassa. De gemeente bestaat uit de nederzettingen van Sellero (de belangrijkste van de gemeente) en de frazione van Novelle.
