Cahors (Franse uitspraak: [kaɔʁ]; Occitaans: Caors [kaˈuɾs, ˈkɔws, ˈkɔw]) is een gemeente in het westelijke deel van Zuid-Frankrijk. Het is de kleinste prefectuur van de 13 afdelingen die de regio Occitanie vormen. Cahors, de belangrijkste stad van het departement Lot en het historische centrum van de Quercy, is de thuisbasis van 19 878 cadurciennes en cadurciens. Genesteld in een meander van de Lot en omgeven door steile dorre kalksteenheuvels, herbergt deze historische stad een grote monumentale diversiteit.
