Tielen is een dorp in de provincie Antwerpen in Vlaanderen, België. Het maakt deel uit van de gemeente Kasterlee. De dichtstbijzijnde stad is de naburige stad Turnhout. Andere naburige dorpen zijn Vosselaar, Lichtaart, Poederlee, Lille en Gierle. De grenzen van Tielen worden gemarkeerd door twee rivieren: de Aa en de Kaliebeek. Bijna een derde van het dorp is nog steeds bedekt met dennenbossen, heide en moerassen. Typisch voor de Kempen. De rest van dit 1.371 hectare grote dorp wordt voornamelijk gebruikt
