Tarquinia voorheen Corneto, is een oude stad in de provincie Viterbo, Lazio, Italië, voornamelijk bekend om zijn oude Etruskische graven in de wijdverspreide necropoleis of begraafplaatsen waar het overheen ligt, waarvoor het UNESCO Werelderfgoed kreeg toestand. In 1922 werd het vernoemd naar de oude stad Tarquinii (Romeins) of Tarch (u) na (Etruskisch). Hoewel er weinig zichtbaar is van de eens zo grote rijkdom en omvang van de oude stad, onthult de archeologie steeds meer een glimp van glorie uit het verleden.

Turijn (tewr-IN, TEWR-in, Piemontese: [tyˈriŋ]; Italiaans: Torino [toˈriːno]; Latijn: Augusta Taurinorum, dan Taurinum) is een stad en een belangrijk zakelijk en cultureel centrum in Noord-Italië.
