Grizzana Morandi is een gemeente in de metropool Bologna in de Italiaanse regio Emilia-Romagna, gelegen op ongeveer 30 kilometer (19 mijl) ten zuidwesten van Bologna. De stad is een zomervakantieoord, gelegen in de bergen tussen de valleien van de rivieren Reno en Setta. Oorspronkelijk gewoon Grizzana, ontving het in 1985 de "Morandi", als ere voor de Italiaanse schilder Giorgio Morandi, die stierf in 1964. Morandi reisde zelden vanuit zijn huis en atelier in Bologna, maar bezocht Grizzana elk jaar vanaf 1913 voor een zomervakantie periode, en veel van zijn landschapsschilderijen zijn van de stad en haar directe omgeving. De stad herbergt ook een centrum voor documentatie over hem (Centro di documentazione Giorgio Morandi) met een verzameling documenten over de schilder en de lokale geschiedenis.

Samen met Padua en Treviso is de stad opgenomen in het Padua-Treviso-Venetië Metropolitan Area (PATREVE), dat wordt beschouwd als een statistisch grootstedelijk gebied, met een totale bevolking van 2,6 miljoen.De naam is afgeleid van de oude Veneti-bevolking die bewoonde de regio in de 10e eeuw voor Christus.
