Trento (Italiaanse uitspraak: [ˈtrento]; ook verengelst als Trent; Ladin: Trènt; Duits: Trient; Cimbrian: Tria) is een stad aan de rivier de Adige in Trentino-Alto Adige / Südtirol in Italië. Het is de hoofdstad van de autonome provincie Trento. In de 16e eeuw was de stad de locatie van het Concilie van Trente.
