Leży na końcu południowo-wschodniej gałęzi jeziora Como (gałąź o nazwie Jezioro Lecco / Lago di Lecco). Alpy Bergamo wznoszą się na północ i wschód, przecięte przez Valsassinę, której Lecco oznacza południowy kraniec.
