Trewir (TREER, niemiecki: [tʁiːɐ̯]; luksemburski: Tréier wymawiany [ˈtʀəɪ̯ɐ]), wcześniej znany w języku angielskim jako Treves (TREV; francuski: Trèves [tʁɛv]) i Trewir (patrz także nazwy w innych językach), to miasto na brzegi Mozeli w Niemczech. Leży w dolinie między porośniętymi winoroślą wzgórzami z czerwonego piaskowca w zachodniej części kraju związkowego Nadrenia-Palatynat, w pobliżu granicy z Luksemburgiem i ważnym regionem winiarskim Mozeli. Karl Marks, filozof i założyciel teorii znanej jako marksizm, urodził się w mieście w 1818 roku. Założony przez Celtów pod koniec IV wieku pne jako Treuorum i podbity 300 lat później przez Rzymian, którzy przemianowali go na Augusta Treverorum („Miasto Augusta wśród Treveri”), Trewir ma dobry tytuł uważany za najstarsze miasto Niemiec. Jest to również najstarsza siedziba biskupa na północ od Alp.
