Bracciano to małe miasteczko we włoskim regionie Lacjum, 30 km (19 mil) na północny zachód od Rzymu. Miasto słynie z jeziora wulkanicznego (Lago di Bracciano lub „Sabatino”, ósme największe jezioro we Włoszech) i szczególnie dobrze zachowanego średniowiecznego zamku Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. Jezioro jest szeroko wykorzystywane do żeglowania i jest popularne wśród turystów; w zamku odbyło się wiele wydarzeń, zwłaszcza wesela aktorów i śpiewaków. Vasto (Abruzzese: lù Uàštë; starogrecki: Ἱστόνιον, romanized: Histonion, Latin: Histonium) to małe miasto nad morzem po przeciwnej stronie Rzymu, położone na wybrzeżu Adriatyku w prowincji Chieti w południowej części Abruzji we Włoszech. W średniowieczu nazywano go także Guastaymonis lub Vasto d'Aimone, a także Waste d'Aimone. Nazwany Istonio pod faszystowską regułą, przyjął obecną nazwę Vasto w 1944 roku.
