Vasto (Abruzzese: lù Uàštë; starogrecki: Ἱστόνιον, romanized: Histonion, Latin: Histonium) to małe miasto nad morzem po przeciwnej stronie Rzymu, położone na wybrzeżu Adriatyku w prowincji Chieti w południowej części Abruzji we Włoszech. W średniowieczu nazywano go także Guastaymonis lub Vasto d'Aimone, a także Waste d'Aimone. Nazwany Istonio pod faszystowską regułą, przyjął obecną nazwę Vasto w 1944 roku.
